These Terms of Use apply to Puddle, provided by Tiny Pond Pty Ltd ("we", "us" or "our").
By using Puddle, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
About Puddle
Puddle is a personal organisation app designed to help you organise everyday life, including tasks, routines, lists, goals, journal entries, profiles, reminders, calendars, rosters, bills and other personal information.
Puddle is a general organisational tool. It is not professional financial, medical, legal or other professional advice.
This version of Puddle is a local, on-device app. It does not provide Puddle accounts, cloud storage, cloud backup, cloud synchronisation, payment processing, artificial intelligence features, or household sharing.
Your information
You are responsible for the information you enter into Puddle and for ensuring you have the right to record information about other people.
Please use appropriate care when storing sensitive or important information.
Bills and calculations
Puddle may provide bill splitting, balances, recurring bills and other calculations as an organisational convenience.
You are responsible for checking amounts before relying on them or making payments. Puddle is not a banking, accounting or payment service and does not transfer money between users.
Reminders and notifications
Reminders and notifications are provided as a convenience and may be affected by device settings, permissions, operating-system behaviour or technical problems.
You should not rely on Puddle as the sole reminder for critical, emergency, medical, financial or legally significant obligations.
Availability and changes
We may change, improve, add or remove Puddle features over time.
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee that Puddle will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free.
Local data
In this version, information you enter into Puddle is stored locally on your device. Puddle does not currently provide cloud backup, cloud synchronisation, or an in-app export or restore feature.
If you uninstall Puddle, clear its data, or lose your device, we cannot recover that locally stored information.
We are not responsible for data loss caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Acceptable use
You must not intentionally misuse Puddle, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access to systems or use it unlawfully.
Intellectual property
Puddle, including its software, branding, design and original content, is owned by or licensed to Tiny Pond Pty Ltd.
These Terms give you permission to use Puddle for its intended purpose. They do not transfer ownership of Puddle or its intellectual property to you.
You retain ownership of information and content you create or enter into Puddle.
Third-party services
Some Puddle features may rely on operating-system services, such as local notifications, the photo library, or your device’s mail app if you choose to contact us. Those services are subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
No charge
This version of Puddle is offered without charge. Using Puddle does not require a purchase or payment.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of Puddle.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights that may apply under the Australian Consumer Law.
Ending use
You may stop using Puddle at any time.
Where Puddle provides deletion functionality, you may use it to remove your locally stored Puddle information. Uninstalling Puddle or clearing its data from your device will also remove locally stored Puddle information, subject to your device and operating system’s own behaviour.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as Puddle changes. The current version and effective date will be made available through Puddle and/or our website.
If a change requires renewed agreement, Puddle will ask you before continuing to use the affected service.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in Western Australia, Australia, subject to any consumer rights that apply regardless of this provision.
